In the 8th year of this festival, we take an interest in the theme of solitude. You will discover some personal stories that resonate with us all. And what if cinema allowed us to share in the solitude of others? Conversely, some stories feature adventures and dramas experienced by many. In these cases, solidarity and brotherhood are pitted against the dangers of betrayal.

There are some events and situations that we experience alone. These are the moments that shape us and determine our ability to face the challenges in our daily life. The characters in these films are all confronted with difficult choices that they alone will have to make. And what would you do if you were in their shoes?

As film education and film awareness is something we hold dear, the Festival proposes two films for high school students: Luna, a drama about relationships and life choices, and The Pirogue, which tells the story of migrants embarking on the perilous journey from Senegal to the Canary Islands in a fishing boat.

After each viewing there will be a discussion in Swedish. In order for the school children to make the most of this unique chance to watch and discuss French films, the viewings are free of charge.

NOTE: School screenings are free, but the places are limited.
