Storyline
La Pirogue
– Baye Laye lives in a fisherman’s village near Dakar, from which boats set out by sea hoping to reach the Canary Islands. Being the captain of a boat himself, he refuses to go on board until his brother’s involvement pressures him into making the voyage to Spain with another thirty men.
